Proposed Plan

To determine the plans for the new pool, the pool committee first surveyed the residents of Hull and the children in community elementary schools.  Using those results, we worked with our engineer to design a pool that meets our community’s needs and desires.

The proposed plan for the Hull Community Pool includes a number of exciting features:

• New bathhouse
• Zero-depth entry
• 5,850 sq. ft. of swimming surface area (compared to 4,530 sq. ft. in existing pool)
• Improved accessibility for all patrons, including the disabled
• Enclosed concessions area
• Shade umbrellas
• Grassy areas for lounging
• Lounge chairs
• Curvy slide
• Two diving boards, including a 1-meter board and a 2-meter board
• Floatable water walk
• Kiddie features such as a small slide, sprinkler, and ground sprays in zero-depth area
• Five 25-yard swimming lanes
• Updated and improved filtration and heating systems
